Managing Courageously: Serving Others while Leading Authentically from the Middle Office

April 3 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Leaders today face a landscape of continuous change, fear, and uncertainty. Now more than ever, many leaders and managers are feeling stuck – especially if they’re in the dreaded “middle”- that is, supervising teams, being supervised by boards or individuals, and having to make rationale, sound decisions in challenging environments. Often these managers find themselves overwhelmed, being pushed in many directions.

This interactive, candid, and practical session offers resources, support, and tools to help middle managers rise to the challenges ahead. Participants will explore ways they can navigate the nuances of managing with varying levels of authority. They will also look at practical ways to manage their workload, while dealing with expectations and priorities put on them by others. And finally, they will develop a method for successfully dealing with change and discover a 3-step process for minimizing stress. Each participant will also receive the complimentary e-book of the same name, which includes reflection questions, tips/tricks and suggestions for taking control of their own growth in leadership.
